RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS
TRGHC provides both short-term and long-term residential programs. While our
residential programs are structured, there are still opportunities for making mistakes,
just as there would be at home. Positive behavior is rewarded through additional
privileges and positive reinforcement. Unacceptable behavior results in additional
counseling and an appropriate reduction in privileges. Upon successful completion of the
program, the youth is reunited with his/her family; placed in a less-restrictive setting
(i.e. foster home or independent living setting); or emancipated. Through our outreach
services, contact and support is continued to assist the youth and family in their
adjustment to the new environment.
